The Greatest Town Of All

We've Got It All

Growing up in Geelong offered young people generally an existence that although not exactly perfect was pretty good for the imperfect beings fortunate enough to grow up here. As kids we knew nothing of racism as we went to school with people of all nationalities at least those permitted by the then White Australia policy, we all got on pretty well and mostly people mixed and integrated into society. Economically we weren’t exactly wealthy but were reasonably comfortable and with a young family I for one was able to deal with a mortgage, had a couple of cars, a horse float, horses and kids thriving on a single wage while living on a small acreage in the country.

Things have changed a tad, housing is not so affordable for people starting out and the cost of living is going through the roof while food supplies appear to be less healthy as are the methods that are supposed to cater for our health and wellbeing which has resulted in me taking more of an interest in what is happening in a society that is radically different to the one I grew up in. We need to be aware of the changes slowly taking place at such a pace that we barely notice them and we surely need to support Australian businesses and be aware of our health and our lawful rights as never before band it is with these issues in mind that I have retained links to healthy, naturalĀ  alternatives to artificial drugs as medicinal remedies and also to our lawful human rights which appear to be diminishing before our very eyes at the hands of public “servants.”

Human beings have a right to pursue the human aspirations of “health, wealth and the pursuit of happiness” which require eternal vigilance in these uncertain times, may God bless Geelong and May God bless Australia.
