Mission Statement

From the outset the inspiration for Geelong Today was to provide a service to the community in which we live. It was originally thought that the people need to be kept up to date, not with trivial news items as such but an over all perspective of the state of our society, the directions its taking, in essence, major news that affects our lives in the now in many ways, health, economy and political trends which affect the most fundamental aspects of our lives if not survival. It has become evident that we cannot rely on the traditional media to keep us informed much less the tech giants like the Zuckerberg’s of this world to give an objective assessment of the realities that affect us whether we recognize those often subtle influences or not. We publicly stand with none of the major political parties whose general activities cause many concerns, currently we are dealing with fire emergencies and the unexplained effect if not dead silence on the matter of geo-engineering  with the chemicals so dispersed into our environment increasing the flammability and thus potential devastation caused to communities. We also see an alarming trend with gender agendas Govco is pursuing along with what appears to be a deliberate attempt to undermine our economy is designed to incrementally increase the  dependence on Govco and thus decrease the freedom we have enjoyed to some limited extent in the past. We are looking for article contributors to convey important messages via this blog on a consistent basis for the accurate discernment of our current reality where good information is critical for our futures and those of our descendants. We believe that unless the people are informed that the future looks bleak which is why we are now seeking to raise a voice for the community, please help if you can, the community needs objective and independent voices to sound the alarm.
