Fighting Diabetes Naturally

Below this post I have hand picked a few Youtube videos, where the advice contained within them appears to have made a difference in my blood sugar levels. Today I woke up with a blood sugar reading of 6.4 while last night and all of yesterday I took no insulin at all, normally I would inject it 4 times a day representing 30-40 units.  However I stay in close contact with my trusted health professionals who advise me and I monitor the levels closely. Anyone altering their routine or adding supplements should do so only in close consultation with their health professionals, it would be foolhardy not to consult with them, perhaps with lethal consequences ensuing if their advice is not carefully considered. Ultimately however we are responsible for our own health and its a good practice to consider whats best for us in all matters, not just health. Coercion from whatever source should never be applied from both a moral and a lawful perspective while decisions made at the end of the day, are quite rightly yours to make after weighing up all the relevant facts.

Having said that, and in response to my research going back years I have instigated a natural protocol taking particular note of the wise sage Hippocrates from whence comes the quote “let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Its only common sense that natural foods provide premium  nourishment as compared to highly processed and completely artificial foods, remember promotion of margerine and low fat foods, the benefits of which have been rightfully debunked as toxic, in terms of nutritional value along with the advice of those promoting it, the main impact made being the making of big bucks at the people’s expense.

Other sources suggest that sickness in general is caused by either mineral and vitamin deficiencies or the presence of said toxins, courtesy of the corruption and incompetence of politicians, who have allowed chemical additives to food, chemical additives to water, (fluoride being highly toxic) and God knows what chemicals they’ve allowed to be sprayed into our atmosphere.

However there are obviously other causes of sickness such as accidental injury, parasites while trauma and stress are a well  recognised as contributors to ill health, as are difficulties in relationships among other issues, but generally the picture is deficiency ot toxicity.

In addition I have taken the advice of my dietician and included eggs, unsalted nuts and cashews and seeds like chia and pumpkin seeds which I’ve added to my protocal of vitamin and mineral supplementation, drawn from the advice of a number of sources, my dietician and the videos above which state that vital minerals that most diabetics appear to be deficient in are Zinc, Chromium , Vanadium with Magnesium suggested as the most critical. I have added R-Alpha Lipoic Acid and Benfotiamine, a fat soluble version of vitamin B1 and there a few others that I take personally, however what I have found most intriguing is Dr. Jonathan Clarke’s insights on dehydration and water consumption and apparently you don’t have to drink gallons of it to be hydrated, but timing its consumption is critical according to him, he suggests it is also important to add a pinch of celtic sea salt when you do drink it.

The other issue of note is coffee which I have always began the day with, however, the problem is that coffee releases cortisol into the blood stream but its action can  apparently be compensated for by once again adding a pinch of celtic sea salt to the coffee  which mitigates the negative effect cortisol has on blood sugar levels.
