Forgive them Father

Its quite stunning to see the values of people reflected in the way people live their lives given the reality that we are all here momentarily in the larger scheme of things, a situation from where the saying is drawn, “you’re a long time dead.” It is of course fear that drives the survival impulse, the fear of our unavoidable demise sees us attempt to cheat death by the achievement of various desires, maybe wealth for some or the exercise of power and influence for others but whatever we may aspire to be or become is largely illusory because its all temporary, dust to dust, ashes to ashes our time on this plant is short and everything returns to the earth sooner or later.

Of late I had noticed a report where in the interests of transparency a number of Freemasons had objected to revealing their membership citing the threat of discrimination towards them were their membership to this secret society made public. I found this somewhat surprising given that my understanding of the reason people joined Freemasonry in the first place was so they might be “get ahead” and be on the positive or receiving end of discriminatory practices, in which job promotion opportunities was one of the rewards of being in the club which depended on who you knew rather than what. In the mad scramble to get an advantage the Catholics on the other hand had their own little group to compete with Freemasonry in Australia called the Knights of the Southern Cross and no doubt there were enterprising individuals who were members of both groups given the appeal of gaining control by way of infiltration whereby its reasonable to assume that Freemasons have indeed infiltrated a number of various denominations of Christianity, some quite innocently as seekers of truth and no doubt some very nice genuine people of pure motives among them, but not all.

To my way of thinking the pressure cooker of life forces people to make certain decisions in what they believe are their best interests and I find it astounding that there are those that choose Satanic worship obviously believing its in their best interests and for me its quite ironic that the existence of these groups indulging in “spiritual wickedness in high places” as the Bible puts it, is what drew me out of a position of atheism towards belief in a creator, not that I believe that any group has a monopoly on God but given the limitations of life, one would have to think that people in the Satanic club who indulge in all manner of evil from pedophilia to mass murder or genocide to all sorts of deceit, fraud and malfeasance and even treason, willing to be a traitor to their own and mankind in general and who believe that their wealth somehow offers them some sort of immunity from the highly probable event understood as judgement day prove themselves, in spite of their wealth and position in life to be as dumb as anyone can be, who obviously believe they can out fox their own maker and for what? they are in my humble opinion, brain dead and the only legacy that they will ever possess is everlasting contempt forever after they depart this world, self important idiots in positions of influence and power who believe they are on a winner and will deliver a hiding to nothing to those of steadfast integrity, indeed they will receive their reward in one way or another.
